Kaizhong Precision breaks ground on two manufacturing projects in Heyuan

On March 5, Shenzhen Kaizhong Precision Technology Co., Ltd. broke ground on two projects, the High-End Copper and Aluminum Precision Profile Manufacturing Project and the New Energy Smart Manufacturing Base Expansion Project, in the Jiangdong New District of Heyuan, Guangdong.

With a combined investment of over RMB200 million (USD28.9 million) and covering about 40,000 square meters, the projects aim to expand the company's advanced manufacturing capacity. The copper and aluminum precision profile project will introduce advanced production lines with a planned annual capacity of 20,000 tonnes. The new energy manufacturing base expansion will include a four-story plant to boost output of busbars and polymer materials, with additional annual output value expected to reach RMB500 million (USD72.25 million) by 2030.

Targeting precision connectors and high-performance functional materials, the projects are designed to meet rising demand from sectors such as new energy vehicles and energy storage. Production is expected to begin in phases starting next year.
