Major Chinese steel mills' daily pig iron output up 2.9% in late Feb

Major Chinese steel mills produced about 15.18 million tonnes of pig iron during the final eight-day period of February, with an average daily output of 1,897,000 tonnes, rising 2.9% from mid-February, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
