Bauxite crushing and processing project signed in Wenshan, Yunnan

On March 5, the Administrative Committee of Wenshan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone signed an agreement with Kunwu Yuanxin (Wenshan) Mining Technology Co., Ltd. to develop a bauxite crushing and processing project.

With a total investment of RMB22 million (USD3.18 million), the project will be built in two phases in the Matang area of the Wenshan High-Tech Zone, focusing on the crushing, screening, and primary processing of bauxite.

Once operational, the project is expected to boost local utilization of bauxite resources and help strengthen the integrated industrial chain spanning bauxite, alumina, primary aluminum, and downstream aluminum processing.
