Jinxin Mining's lithium concentrator completes trial run
On February 1, Malkang Jinxin Mining Co., Ltd, a partially-owned subsidiary of Guocheng Group, completed hot-commissioning at its lithium concentrator, producing the first batch of concentrate. The project is expected to reach full production by March 2026, with a processing capacity of 5,000 tonnes of ore per day, supporting more than 500 direct and indirect local jobs.
Public data shows that Jincheng Mining's Dangba lithium pegmatite deposit in Sichuan has proven lithium oxide (Li2O) reserves of 1.12 million tonnes, making it the first pegmatite lithium deposit in Sichuan with over one million tonnes of Li2O reserves and the largest deposit of its type in Asia to date.
The company currently holds a mining license for an annual production capacity of 1 million tonnes and is in the process of applying to expand it to 5 million tonnes per year.
