Major Chinese steel mills' daily crude steel output down 11% in late Dec

Major Chinese steel mills reported crude steel production of around 18.07 million tonnes in the last eleven days of December 2025, with daily output averaging around 1.64 million tonnes, 11% lower than mid-December, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
