Major Chinese steel mills' daily steel product output up further in late Nov

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 20.8 million tonnes of finished steel products during the last ten-day period of November 2025, with the daily average output of 2,080,000 tonnes, up by 8.1% from mid-November, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of 14.28 million tonnes, a decrease of 1.3 million tonnes or 8.5% versus ten days ago.
