On November 12, Inner Mongolia Hongtai Mining Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony in East Ujimqin Banner for its 900,000tpa silver-zinc-lead ore mining and processing project.
Leveraging the large silver-polymetallic deposit in the eastern Wulantaolegai mining area, the project involves a total investment of about 1.04 billion yuan (145 million US dollars). Once completed and fully operational, it is expected to generate average annual revenue of 864 million yuan (121 million US dollars), contribute 294 million yuan (41.32 million yuan) in taxes, and create more than 720 jobs. The project is designed for a service life of up to 30 years.
