China Molybdenum Co., Ltd. (CMOC) reported operating revenue of RMB145.5 billion (USD20.46 billion) for the first three quarters of 2025, including RMB56.6 billion (USD7.96 billion) from its mining segment, which contributed nearly 40% of the total, according to the company's latest quarterly report.
Production of major products met or exceeded planned goals. In the third quarter, CMOC produced around 543,400 tonnes of copper, up 14.1% YoY and hitting a record high for the period. Copper sales rose 10.6% YoY to 520,300 tonnes. The copper business generated RMB38.62 billion (USD5.43 billion) in revenue, accounting for over 68% of the mining segment, up three percentage points from the previous quarter.
During the period, cobalt output reached 87,974 tonnes, up 3.8% YoY; molybdenum output was 10,611 tonnes, down 6.38% YoY; tungsten output was 6,000 tonnes, down 2.1% YoY; niobium output reached 7,841 tonnes, up 2.07% YoY; and phosphate fertilizer production stood at 912,800 tonnes, up 1.92% YoY, all exceeding their respective planned targets.
