Major Chinese steel mills' daily steel product output declines in early Oct

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 19.61 million tonnes of finished steel products during the first ten-day period of October, with the daily average output at around 1,961,000 tonnes, down by 8.5% from late last month, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of approximately 15.88 million tonnes, an increase of 1,210,000 tonnes or 8.2% compared with late September.
