Major Chinese steel mills' daily steel product output rises in mid-Sep

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 20.61 million tonnes of finished steel products during the second ten-day period of September, with the daily average output at around 2,061,000 tonnes, up by 5.4% from early September, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of approximately 15.29 million tonnes, a decrease of 530,000 tonnes or 3.4% compared with early September.
