Major Chinese steel mills' daily pig iron output rises in early Sep

Major Chinese steel mills produced about 18.96 million tonnes of pig iron during the first ten-day period of September, with an average daily output of 1,896,000 tonnes, up by 3.8% from late August, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
