China's ten nonferrous metals output rises 3.8% in Aug

China's production of ten nonferrous metals reached 6.98 million tonnes in August 2025, up by 3.8% YoY, and the output from January to August totaled 54.32 million tonnes, an increase of 3.1% from the same period last year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

In the first eight months, China produced 30.14 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 2.2% versus the year ago period, including 3.8 million tonnes in August, edging down by 0.5% YoY.
