On September 5, during the World Smart Industry Expo 2025 held in Chongqing, Wanzhou District signed nine new projects, including a stainless steel products project with an annual production capacity of 7 million units. The project, with a planned investment of RMB300 million (USD42.06 million), is designed to produce 5 million food-grade and 2 million medical-grade stainless steel products annually.
