Major Chinese steel mills' daily crude steel output ticks up in mid-Aug

Major Chinese steel mills reported crude steel production of around 21.15 million tonnes during the second ten-day period of August when the daily output was around 2,115,000 tonnes, rising by 2.0% from early this month, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
