Chifeng NFC Baiyinnuoer Mine Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC), has received a new mining license from Chifeng Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources to expand the production capacity of its Baiyinnuoer lead-zinc mine from 990,000 tonnes to 1.65 million tonnes per annum. The new mining license, valid until March 29, 2036, allows the company to mine zinc, lead, silver, and cadmium through underground method.
