Jiuhui New Materials plans battery-grade lithium carbonate project

Jiangxi Jiuhui New Materials Co., Ltd. recently had its environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for a battery-grade lithium carbonate project accepted for review by the Shangrao Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau.

According to the report, the project will be located in the Fengchao Industrial Park of Wannian High-Tech Industrial Zone in Shangrao, and it will use lepidolite and spodumene concentrate as raw materials, with an annual production capacity of 8,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium carbonate.
