China Huaneng and Gansu partner on major renewable energy projects

On July 4, China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with the government of Gansu Province in Lanzhou. The two sides will deepen their strategic partnership and jointly advance key renewable energy projects, including the Shagehuang energy transmission base, during China's 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030). The partnership aims to support Gansu's goal of becoming a leading national hub for renewable energy production and equipment manufacturing.
