China's first 1550mm silicon steel pickling and rolling line begins operation

On June 26, Guangxi Hongwang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. commissioned its 1550mm pickling and tandem rolling line, producing the first coil of silicon steel. Built by MCC Jingcheng, this is China's first domestically developed wide-width, high-speed silicon steel production line.

The line uses advanced roll-shifting technology to ensure stable production of thin, wide silicon steel, achieving world-class flatness and thickness precision. With a maximum rolling speed of 1,500 meters per minute, its performance exceeds that of similar imported equipment, boosting the competitiveness of China's silicon steel industry.
