Fulin P.M. and SD Lomon team up on LFP and precursor projects

Mianyang Fulin Precision Machining Co., Ltd. (Fulin P.M.) and Sichuan Development Lomon Co., Ltd. (SD Lomon) have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to engage in equity and capital cooperation, and jointly invest in two new ventures focused on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode materials and precursors.

The plan includes building a 100,000-tonne-per-annum (tpa) high-density LFP cathode material plant and a 100,000tpa lithium dihydrogen phosphate precursor plant using lithium concentrate or lithium sulfate as raw materials, both to be located in the Deyang-Aba Ecological Economy Industrial Park in Mianzhu, Sichuan. Additionally, a 100,000tpa ferrous oxalate plant will also be built by the precursor joint venture.
