Major Chinese steel mills' daily pig iron output slips in late May

Major Chinese steel mills produced about 21.04 million tonnes of pig iron during the last eleven-day period of May, with an average daily output of 1,913,000 tonnes, down by 3.5% from mid-May, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
