Recently, Hulunbuir Chihong Mining Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for its lead-zinc smelting efficiency enhancement project. Leveraging the abundant lead and zinc resources in and around Hulunbuir and across the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the project involves the renovation and expansion of the lead electrolysis and ingot casting facilities, as well as the construction of a zinc neutralizing agent preparation system and a pressure swing adsorption oxygen supply system. By optimizing the process flow and introducing advanced equipment, the project aims to establish an integrated and highly efficient production model featuring coordinated lead-zinc operations.
Upon completion, the project is expected to increase lead and zinc system capacities by 60% and 40% respectively. The combined output value of both systems is projected to grow by 37%, with annual net profits expected to rise by over 10 million yuan (1.39 million US dollars).
