Major Chinese steel mills' daily crude steel output edges up in early May

Major Chinese steel mills reported crude steel production of around 22.05 million tonnes during the first ten-day period of May when the daily output was around 2,205,000 tonnes, up slightly by 0.2% from late April, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
