China's Wutai County has officially closed two non-coal mining companies, Dongye Huaiyin Hongda Stone Plant and Jian'an Baiyunyan Wanfuheng Stone Plant, under a local resource management plan.
The two mines must immediately cease all operations, dismantle equipment, and ensure proper employee settlement. The original mining rights holders are responsible for ecological restoration of the sites.
Local authorities will oversee the closure process, ensuring compliance and preventing unauthorized mining. Relevant permits for the closed mines will be revoked.
