China's Q1 production of ten nonferrous metals up 2% YoY
China's production of ten nonferrous metals was 6.92 million tonnes in March 2025, up by 3.7% from a year ago, and the production in the first quarter increased by 2.0% year on year to 19.85 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
During the quarter, China produced 11.07 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 3.2% from the prior year period, including 3.75 million tonnes in March, up by 4.4% YoY.
