Zangge Mining's annual copper production up 8% YoY

In 2024, Zangge Mining produced 11,566 tonnes and sold 13,582 tonnes of lithium carbonate, with sales up by 32% year-on-year. Its subsidiary, Julong Copper, produced 166,000 tonnes of copper in concentrate, rising by 8% from the previous year, according to the company's annual report.

Julong Copper also added 14.73 million tonnes of registered copper resources in 2024, bringing its total retained copper resources to 25.61 million tonnes, making it the largest copper mine in China. Currently, Julong Copper is accelerating the second phase of its capacity expansion and optimization project, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Once operational, the company's share of mined copper production at Julong Copper is expected to reach 92,000-108,000 tonnes per year. After the completion of the third phase, its share of copper production capacity will rise to 180,000 tonnes per year.
