On March 15, CHALCO Zhongzhou Aluminum Co., Ltd. commenced construction of Lizhuangzhai bauxite exploration project, marking a significant milestone after winning the bid for the mine's detailed exploration rights in August 2024.
The exploration site is located in the bauxite enrichment zone in Mianchi County and aligns with Chalco's strategic initiative to strengthen its resource base. Zhongzhou Aluminum views this project as a key step in accelerating the development of a "bauxite resource production base," reinforcing its position in the industry.
