On February 15, Xinjiang Dongjia New Materials Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for its 300,000tpa titanium dioxide project in Bachu County.
With a total investment of 6 billion yuan (826 million U.S. dollars), the project has a planned land area of 300,000 sq.m., where the company plans to build production lines for 300,000tpa of titanium dioxide, 900,000tpa of phosphoric acid, 180,000tpa of ammonium sulfate, and 900,000tpa of ferrous sulfate. Upon completion, the project will further strengthen the vanadium-titanium industry chain in Bachu and play an important role in the establishment of a new green mining hub in southern Xinjiang.
