Major Chinese steel mills' daily steel product output slides in early Feb

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 19.54 million tonnes of finished steel products during the first ten-day period of February, when the daily output was 1,954,000 tonnes, down by 3.4% from late January, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 16.21 million tonnes, an increase of 860,000 tonnes or 5.6% from late January.
