Major Chinese steel mills' daily crude steel output edges up in mid-Jan

Major Chinese steel mills reported crude steel production of around 20.72 million tonnes during the second ten-day period of January 2025 when the daily output was around 2,072,000 tonnes, up slightly by 0.3% from early January, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
