Major Chinese steel mills' daily crude steel output jumps in early Jan

Major Chinese steel mills reported crude steel production of around 20.65 million tonnes during the first ten-day period of January 2025 when the daily output was around 2,065,000 tonnes, jumping by 10.3% from late December 2024, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
