Chalco units to acquire aluminum slab ingot production line

Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco) plans to acquire, through its Qinghai Branch, Liancheng Branch and Guizhou Branch, aluminum slab ingot production line from China Aluminum Group High-end Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for about RMB175 million (USD24.17 million).

The company said that acquiring the above-mentioned asset would increase the capacity utilization rate of aluminum slab ingot production line for the synergy between primary aluminum and aluminum alloy, so as to improve operational efficiency.
