In October 2024, China produced about 7.43 million tonnes of alumina, up by 5.4% YoY, 3.72 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 1.6% YoY, 1.41 million tonnes of aluminum alloy, up by 9.1% YoY, and 5.92 million tonnes of aluminum products, up by 7.4% YoY, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
From January to October, China's alumina output totaled 70.69 million tonnes, up by 2.9% YoY, primary aluminum production reached 36.39 million tonnes, up by 4.3% YoY, aluminum alloy output increased by 8.7% YoY to 13.22 million tonnes, and aluminum products output increased by 8.1% YoY to 56.12 million tonnes.
