CISA: Major steel mills' daily steel product output down 9.6% in early Oct

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 19.33 million tonnes of finished steel products during the first ten-day period of October, when the daily output was 1,933,000 tonnes, down by 9.6% from late September, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 14.73 million tonnes, an increase of 450,000 tonnes or 3.2% from ten days ago.
