Shijiazhuang Shangtai Technology Co., Ltd. announced that it plans to set up a wholly-owned sub-subsidiary in Malaysia to build a 50,000tpa lithium-ion battery anode material project, with an initially planned investment of USD154 million, which the company said will come from its own funds or self-raised funds. Construction of the project is expected to take 24 months, according to the company's announcement.
