CISA: Major steel mills' daily steel product output shrinks 4.6% in early Sep

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 18.65 million tonnes of finished steel products during the first ten-day period of September, when the daily output was 1,865,000 tonnes, down by 4.6% from late August, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 14.97 million tonnes, an increase of 430,000 tonnes or 2.9% from late August.
