CISA: Major steel mills' daily steel product output rises in late Aug

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 21.51 million tonnes of finished steel products during the final eleven-day period of August, when the daily output was 1,955,300 tonnes, up by 4.07% from mid-August, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 14.54 million tonnes, a decrease of 1.91 million tonnes or 11.62% from mid-August.
