CISA: Major steel mills' daily pig iron output slides to 1.76Mt in late Aug

Major Chinese steel mills produced about 19.32 million tonnes of pig iron during the last eleven-day period of August with an average daily output of 1,755,900 tonnes, down further by 3.68% from mid-August, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
