Hainan Mining reports lower H1 iron ore output and sales

Hainan Mining Co., Ltd. reported iron ore production of 1.14 million tonnes and sales of 1.21 million tonnes for the first half of 2024, down by 20.83% and 8.2% respectively from the prior year period, according to its semi-annual report.

The H1 production included 787,900 tonnes of lump ore, down by 20.84% YoY, and 353,500 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, down by 20.82% YoY. The H1 sales included 867,100 tonnes of lump ore, up by 5.33% YoY, and 347,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, down by 30.52% YoY.
