Ezhou Hongtai Steel Co., Ltd. plans to transfer 1,200,000tpa of electric furnace steelmaking capacity to Hubei Jinshenglan Metallurgical Technology Co., Ltd., according to a notice issued by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hubei Province.

Ezhou Hongtai Steel Co., Ltd. operates three electric furnaces, including two 50-ton furnaces with total capacity of 750,000tpa and one 60-ton furnace with capacity of 450,000tpa.
