China's Longling county reported a 17.5% decrease in the total value of industrial output by companies above designated size in the first five months of 2024, 34.5 percentage points slower than the prior year period.
From January to May, Longling produced 14,500t of electrolytic zinc, down by 0.8% YoY, 89,200t of silicon metal, up by 36.8% YoY, and 15,900t of monocrystalline silicon, down by 19.3% YoY.
