Hunan Xinlong Mining Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hunan Gold, suspended operation on July 17 after one worker of the mining contractor was killed in a workplace accident. The resumption date for production is unclear at the moment, with investigation underway.

Xinlong Mining produced 801kg of gold and 6,060t of antimony in 2023. During the first quarter of 2024, the company reported production of 164kg of gold and 1,406t of antimony.
