50ktpa high-purity aluminum project breaks ground in Inner Mongolia

On June 12, construction kicked off for a 50,000tpa segregation method high-purity aluminum project in Holingol, Inner Mongolia.

Inner Mongolia Chuangyin New Material Co., Ltd. reached an agreement earlier this year to build the project at the high-tech industrial zone in Holingol and expects to put the project into operation this December.

With a total investment of RMB500 million (USD68.96 million), the project includes three phases and would be able to produce 50,000 tonnes per annum of high-purity aluminum (Al99.996) by 2026. When fully operational, the project is expected to achieve an annual production value of over RMB1.8 billion (USD248 million), along with tax revenue of RMB80 million (USD11.03 million), and would help create around 120 jobs.
