Hengtron starts trial production at 10ktpa LMFP project

On May 29, Jiangsu Hengtron Nanotech Co., Ltd. produced the first batch of products from the lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) project with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tonnes.

With trial production commencing at the new production line, which broke ground in 2023, Hengtron's Yancheng production base will be able to produce 15,000 tonnes of LMFP annually with production value exceeding 1 billion yuan (138 million US dollars), and is expected to create more than 100 jobs.

In 2023, Hengtron sold over 1,000 tonnes of LMFP and achieved an annual sale revenue of nearly 100 million yuan (13.81 million US dollars). The company expects its LMFP shipment in 2024 to increase by more than 5 times from last year.
