CISA: Major steel mills' daily steel product output reaches 2.12 Mt in mid-May

Major Chinese steel mills produced about 21.2 million tonnes of steel products during the second ten-day period of May, when the daily output reached 2,120,100 tonnes, up by 4.75% from early May, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held steel products inventory of around 16.83 million tonnes, an increase of 547,000 tonnes or 3.36% from ten days ago.
