Jiuquan Guangran inks deal to build anode materials project in Yumen

On May 10, Jiuquan Guangran New Material Co., Ltd. reached an agreement with Yumen municipal government on developing a 80,000tpa lithium battery anode materials project for a total investment of RMB1.63 billion (USD225 million).

When completed, the project will be able to produce 60,000tppa of anode coke and 20,000tpa of coating asphalt, which are the main raw materials for lithium battery anode, with the annual production value expected to reach RMB3.3 billion (USD456 million), and would held create around 350 jobs. The project is scheduled to break ground late this May before put into operation in the first half of 2025.
