Major Chinese steel mills produced about 19.28 million tonnes of steel products during the first ten-day period of March, during which the daily output was 1,927,600 tonnes, down by 6.65% from late February, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of ten-day period, major Chinese steel mills held steel products inventory of around 19.52 million tonnes, an increase of 1,504,000 tonnes or 8.35% from late February.
