On November 16, two projects with a total investment of RMB20.6 billion (USD2.87 billion) were signed to break ground in Jingbian, Yulin.

Jingbian Xinyao New Material Co., Ltd., affiliate to Xinfa Group, held the signing ceremony for its 125,000tpa high-purity crystalline silicon and 150,000tpa industrial silicon project, with a total investment of RMB14.2 billion (USD1.97 billion). Xinfa Group signed an agreement to invest RMB6.4 billion (USD890 million) to build two 600MW thermoelectricity generator sets in Jingbian.
