On September 20, Ningde Dingxin Renewable Resources Co., Ltd. broke ground on its steel recycling project in Wanwu town. With a total investment of RMB500 million (USD68.45 million), the project will cover a land area of 126,100 square meters and build plants with floor area of 80,000 square meters. Upon completion, the project will be capable of processing 2 million tonnes of steel scrap per annum and is expected to achieve annual production value of over RMB5 billion (USD684 million) and create nearly 300 new jobs.
