WBMS: Global lead market in surplus of 8.8kt in Jul

Global refined lead market saw supply surplus of 8,800 tonnes in July 2023 with production and consumption reaching 1.17 million tonnes and 1.16 million tonnes respectively, and the global production and consumption of the metal totaled 8.52 million tonnes and 8.48 million tonnes respectively in the first seven months of this year, with a supply surplus of 47,300 tonnes, according to the latest data released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS).

Global lead mine production was 354,500 tonnes in July 2023 and 2.88 million tonnes in the first seven months of this year.
