Xinyao New Material to build 150ktpa industrial silicon project

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the 125,000tpa high-purity crystalline silicon and 150,000tpa industrial silicon project developed by Jingbian Xinyao New Material Co., Ltd. has been released for public opinion.

The company plans to build the project at Yangqiaopan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Jingbian county, with a total investment of RMB14.2 billion (USD1.95 billion). Construction includes high-purity crystalline silicon production equipment with capacity of 125,000tpa, an industrial silicon plant with capacity of 150,000tpa and associated facilities.
